Wolf Howling CD 1
Project HOWL is a continuous process of learning and applying new knowledge to make our interface with wolves and other wildlife as harmonious and realistic as possible, thus the wolf vocalizations contained on this wolf howling CD. Wolves are not often seen or heard and their voices are a rare glimpse of how pack members communicate with one another and with the pups. You'll hear:
How the pups' howls change over time as they grow older and how they communicate with the adults.
How the adults howl to the pack as they return from a hunt.
A variety of vocalizations used by wolves for various purposes.
This CD is $12.00 (includes shipping and handling) and is approximately 37 minutes in length. It contains an extensive twelve page information booklet which describes the sounds you will hear and gives a detailed account of the Fishtrap pack's history as well as information regarding the research project conducted on this pack. Both the CD and booklet can be downloaded. The money from selling these compact discs will at least partially finance the extensive cost and maintenance of equipment required for studying the Fishtrap pack. This will help ensure that Project HOWL will continue in the future.
As you listen to the wolves howl, think of them as another creature just trying to make a living as best they can. Perhaps some day we can let go of our mythical view of these animals, and instead understand wolves for what they really are - another life form in which we share more similarities than differences. Thank you for your support and enjoy immersing yourself in the sounds of the Fishtrap pack!
